BEGINNINGS
TLC Family Church began as a desire to help people live as effective and prosperous followers of Christ. In August of 1999, TLC Family Church was birthed out of a core group of leaders that had ministered, served and traveled with Pastors Steve and Shirley Arnold. In 1999, God impressed upon both Pastor Steve and Pastor Shirley to establish this work. TLC Family Church was started with approximately 50 people that has grown to over 400 members. With a deep passion to see lives restored & renewed, TLC Family Church has become a multi-cultural, multi-generational, diverse Body of Christ.

 

WHY WE EXIST
Our mission is this: To establish a fresh model of New Testament worship and power; and to train, equip and release people into divine purpose

 

WHAT WE BELIEVE

 

1. In the inspiration of the Bible.
2. In one God eternally existing in three persons; namely the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.
3. That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost, and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and rose from the dead. That He ascended to heaven and is today at the right hand of the Father as the Intercessor.
4. That all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God and that repentance is commanded of God for all and is necessary for forgiveness of sins.
5. That justification, regeneration, and the new birth are brought by faith in Jesus Christ.
6. In sanctification through faith in the blood of Christ; through the Word; and by the Holy Ghost.
   Holiness is God's standard of living for His people.
7. In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and that it is one of the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost.
8. In water baptism by immersion, and all who repent should be baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
9. That Divine healing is provided for all in the atonement.
10. In the Lord's Supper.
11. In the bodily resurrection; eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked.
